We have finally settled into a place in Massacre Bay on the backside of Turtleback Mountain. Our backyard is a forest with a resident owl, frogs that put you to sleep and stars for days. I'm in heaven. Hopefully we will be able to stay as we just heard it will be out on the market next year. Sad, but we are hopeful something will work out in our favor. Mel loves it here, she has had her first kills here. Little Voles are put at the front stairs every few weeks, she even has her eye on a baby bunny that has been lurking about.
George has his garage and I have my gardening space and a better kitchen. We have made some improvements inside and out. George has landscaped this rock wall in the the place I call my Sanctuary Garden. This will be my Mana Space:) We have a hiking trail to the main trail to the mountain in our backyard, so hiking is in abundance at our footsteps. Beautiful sunsets with a partial view are seen from our front porch. Like I said....heaven...
I am currently in the process of launching my business Island Chef Services. Website just needs some touch -ups and will be fully launched in May. I was fortunate enough to have come across a great team, Wild Wing Studios. Affordable prices for great quality, wonderful customer service and creativity to boot! I am surely on the way to living the dream:) I have a few weddings booked, but still have space for a few more events and weekly clients. This is the year for organization, practice and patience. Next year, I will be in full swing:)
